Raiffeisen Malta Bank plc was granted a banking licence in accordance with the Maltese Banking Act in November 1996 under the country's onshore regime.
The bank has its business focus on corporate banking and acts as a niche player offering tailored and flexible financing and investment solutions to its predominantly international customers.
Raiffeisen Malta Bank is ultimately 100% owned by RBI. As at 31 December 2012, its total assets amounted to EUR 2.2 billion.
